📢 Street Child US is proud to announce that our Last Mile Learning program in Bangladesh, funded by the Dorothea Haus Ross Foundation, has just been selected as one of the top 100 innovations to watch out for in 2024!
Last Mile Learning is a digital program that helps the most vulnerable children, including Rohingya refugees, learn quickly. It uses solar-powered MP3 players to provide verbal lessons on literacy and numeracy. The unique selling point for this remote model is that it is designed to be successful for children learning outside a formal structure, who have limited resources and little-to-no learning support from caregivers, either because their caregivers are absent or because they are first-generation learners.
