Street Child believes that achieving universal basic education is the single greatest step that can be taken towards the elimination of global poverty, and that every child deserves the chance to go to school and learn.
We work in regions where the gaps between aid and need are greatest, prioritizing children in the most marginalized communities. For these reasons we are often among very few organizations that support the children living through some of the world's worst crises.
We have a core focus on accelerated foundational learning, supported by child protection and livelihoods. Central to this are our partnerships with local NGOs.
Street Child is a global federation of offices working together to deliver programs that keep children safe, in school & learning.
We publish evaluations, research and community consultations.
Our work has won multiple awards for excellence and / or innovation, as well as recognition and endorsement from credible external agencies.
